Rimpei Kuroiwa

I study phase separation of PGL-3, a germ granule component of C. elegans, using an in vitro reconstituted system. I am interested in how it undergoes phase separation in a context where the structured regions are important, how the dynamics of consequent condensates is determined, and how these specific physical parameters support its biological functions.
